We’d like to say a quick thanks to Monmouthshire County Council in Wales and Central Coast Council in Australia for being the pioneers of this platform. Thanks guys.

Also, a special thanks to Sebeail Fowell, Chris Redding and Mike Robertson from Superfast Business Cornwall (aka Peninsula Enterprise) for believing in our vision. We hope to do you proud.

Finally, please forgive the plagiarism above. We forgot to take any photos so it was the best we could think of on sleep deprivation this morning.

Marketing in a Digital Age Workshops

Posted by

In collaboration with Falmouth University, we have hosted a two-day workshop for business professionals who were looking to get a clearer understanding of the strategic, design and cultural shifts happening in a rapidly changing digital world.

Our itinerary allowed participants to apply their learning to real business challenges, gaining some great feedback. They left feeling more confident in how they could integrate digital into their business and open up new opportunities.

Love ‘Your Home’ campaign

Posted by

Teignbridge District Council have recently commissioned us to design a campaign that will encourage people to ‘love their homes’.

The Council housing team and partner organisations will adopt a new brand for the initiative and use it to promote a variety of different messages and call to actions; including loans and grants available for heating and repairs, promoting energy efficiency, and advice to tenants about disrepair to their homes.

We are now inviting tenants and home owners to take part in a focus group to test a number of brand identities and help them develop a campaign that empathises with the needs of residents and encourages them to take action. The brand is due to be launched end of May in Teignbridge.

Made Open is live in Australia

We’re delighted to announce that Central Coast Council (Tasmania, Australia) has entered into a two year agreement to licence a ‘whitelabelled’ version of our Made Open platform.

Central Coast Council will be piloting the Made Open community platform in Tasmania, before looking at ways to deliver the platform to other Council’s in Australia. This agreement concludes a lengthy and global market research process by Central Coast Council who have been looking for a great collaboration product that can scale, and a versatile partner who shares their vision for the future.

Users of Made Open Tasmania will be able to connect with other users based on their skills, interests, location. They will be able to crowdsource ideas, discuss issues and form projects around shared interests.

The digital platform has been customised using the colours from Central Coast Council’s brand. It promises to be an ideal platform for partner and community wide collaboration because it enables people to co-design and co-produce solutions to deal with specific challenges. See it here:

New film & website for Adoption & Fostering

Posted by

We’re delighted to be working with Cornwall Council in the creation of a responsive website that engages and informs visitors about Adoption and Fostering Services in Cornwall.

The Adoption and Fostering team in Cornwall have been praised nationally for their supportive “whole life” approach to Adoption and Fostering.

The new website will help prospective adopters and foster carers learn more about the process, and understand the support
that Cornwall Council offer to families. A dedicated website will also provide the team with an opportunity to explain why the service is valued and share some of the wonderful stories of adoption and fostering in the region.

We are also making some films that capture the experiences of foster carers and families with adopted children. The site will be live end of May.
